About me:

Originally, I'm from Newfoundland and proudly Canadian, which makes me a big fan of the ocean and mountains.  My spare time is mainly spent outdoors mountain biking, snowboarding, rock climbing, fishing, playing soccer or cycling. I am quite outgoing and like to get involved with extracurricular activities where I study or work to promote healthy and friendly relations with collegues. I have been involved in the EOAS Grad student sport and social committees to help students become engaged within the earth science community.

Current projects:

My MSc focus is utilizing Airborne magnetics and magnetic properties to constrain regional 3D inversion models in the prospective west-central Yukon.

-I strongly believe integration between geophysics and geology is key for the best geoscience possible.

Professional Experience:

Junior Geophysicist, Castillian Resources, 2011-2012

 - Running a geophysics crew conducting IP and magnetics surveys, processing field data,  report writting, also logging core on their Hope Brook Gold Project in Newfoundland and cental Yukon.

Junior Geologist, Cap-Ex Ventures (Consulting for Castillian Resources), 2012

- Drill core logging on an Iron ore property with Cap-Ex Ventures in northern Quebec.

Junior Geologist, Geological Survey of Newfoundland, Summer 2009 & 2010

- Regional geologic bedrock mapping on the northeastern coast of Newfoundland.
