Main programs and documentation

UBC-GIF codes that are available for academic or commercial licensing are listed below. We are currently updating all of our codes. If there is not a link to an individual code's page, we are in the process of updating the code and documentation.

  • Note that Utility and Graphical User Interface (GUI) codes are supplied with inversion codes, or they (and their manuals) can be downloaded from the utilities page.
  • Information on referencing these codes in literature is found at the bottom of this page.

 

Main forward modelling and inversion codes

Below are the main programs available (see our licensing page) and a brief description. The links will take you to the code's webpage.

DCIP2D: Direct current and induced polaralization forward modelling and inversion in 2D.

DCIP3D: Direct current and induced polaralization forward modelling and inversion in 3D.

MAG3D: Forward modelling and inversion of magnetic data in 3D.

GRAV3D: Forward modelling and inversion of gravity data in 3D.

EM1DFM: Frequency-domain electromagnetics inversion for conductivity in 1D.

EM1DTM: Time-domain electromagnetics inversion for conductivity in 1D.
